What is "Track Status" and why is it important to you!
Dixie Motor Speedway Presented by Draper Auto Group has implemented a "Track Status" module. It is located on the far right hand side, it is in the second module position after the search button. This module will let you know the current track status for each weeks events.
GREEN FLAG: Status indicates the track is good to go racing. That means no imminent weather is expected. There are no known problems at the track, everything is....ahem.... GREEN to go racing.
YELLOW FLAG: Status indicates the conditions are suspect. That means the forecast is calling for a chance of precipitation and green flag racing status is up in the air at this time. But we'll be constantly monitoring the situation. This does NOT mean races have been canceled, but to keep checking the website for further developments.
RED FLAG: Status indicates that the races scheduled for the evening have been Canceled or Postponed! (Yes their is a difference!) That means we are under water, its freezing cold out, or a meteor has landed in the center of the race track. Either way, the Races are Canceled or Postponed and further information will be released very soon, If it hasn't been already in the Main News Rotator.
We will do our very best to keep up on our "Track Status" as timely as possible. Any Cancellations or Postponements will be followed by a general e-mail sent to all registered members of the website alerting everyone to a change in the schedule.
We feel this is a vast improvement in our communication with YOU; The car owner, driver, crew, fans, and employees. So with that said.... Let it be Sunny and 74 on each and every race day in 2010!
