(NOTE: All Schaefer-Bierlein Dodge of Frankenmuth Hard-Charger Points Standings are FINAL and OFFICIAL)
The Schaefer and Bierlein Hard Charger is a special award that rewards the drivers who started at the rear of the field and made a charge through the field to be at the front by the end of the night. The award was a season-long accumulation process, drivers gained or lost points by advancing or losing positions in each and every feature during the 2009 racing season.
For example; If Driver A starts 10th in the feature, and finishes 2nd, Driver A would have earned Eight ( 8 ) Schaefer and Bierlein Hard Charger Points. However, if Driver B starts 5th and falls to 9th, Driver B would have lost Four (-4) Schaefer and Bierlein Hard Charger points.
Schaefer and Bierlein began in 1854 when George Schaefer opened a blacksmith and woodworking shop. In 1914, they began selling automobiles, and a legacy of hands-on customer service.
Found locally in Frankenmuth, Michigan; Schaefer and Bierlein is one of the areas premier Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep dealers, and also provide the sleek new Schaefer and Bierlien 2009 Dodge Charger Pace Car that you see leading the charge at the front of the field for each and every feature event at the Dixie Motor Speedway throughout the 2009 racing season.
